What can go in the Composter

The food waste composter can handle all sorts of food products, raw or cooked. However, to ensure the machine’s maximum efficiency, do not pour oil or oil blends, hard shells, fruit stones (lychee, avocado, peach), or any non-organic materials like plastic or metal into the machine.

  • Plastic Products i.e. Bags, Bottles

  • Medicine, Chemicals

Compostible packaging can take longer to break down than food waste. To assist the composting process, packaging and cardboard can be shredded to aid the speed of the composting.
